Fred L. Egelston, DDS, a family dental practice in Almaden Valley, has again received the highest ranking for dentistry in Almaden and San Jose for 2009 by the Bay Area Consumers’ Checkbook magazine, a non-profit consumer information guide that helps consumers find quality and reasonably priced services.
Egelston is the only dentist in Almaden Valley to receive a 100% rating for superior dental care, and one of only eight dentists in all of San Jose to make the list. The consumer publication chose its highest ranked dentists from a list of over 300 dentists in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Egelston (or Dr. Fred, as his patients call him) grew up in Almaden Valley and attended Leland High. In business since 1983, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society. Dr. Egelston practices family, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry.
